Enabling Commons
Welcome to Enabling Commons! This podcast is a space for dialogue among persons with disabilities to explore strategies that will transform our environments, our commons, to be meaningfully enabling for all.
Every episode, we have conversations with activists, experts, and scholars at the intersections between disability and climate change, unpacking and sharing knowledge.
Host and audio production by Áine Kelly-Costello, (they/them), a disabled story-teller, PhD candidate and advocate. In the climate and disability nexus, they write features for the disability Debrief newsletter, and have also worked with organisations on making campaigning more accessible and inclusive. Their story-telling and advocacy work has also spanned disability intersections with migration, journalism, political participation and independent living.
