Wired Divergent: Unmasking, Confidence, and Regulation for Autistic Adults

Wired Divergent is a weekly podcast about unmasking and real confidence for neurodivergent adults. Social masking (aka camouflaging) is something many autistic and ADHD people learn young, often for safety and to avoid trauma. Episodes cover masking and autistic burnout, self-trust, social confidence, sensory overload, interoception, alexithymia, and internalized shame. All of it comes from a neurodivergent person talking to neurodivergent people, with no pathologizing and no fixing.
Host and producer Jen deHaan is an autistic and ADHD (AuDHD) coach and educator based in British Columbia, and she writes, voices, produces, and edits the show herself as a disabled creator. She has close to 30 years in creative, tech, and educational work, over a decade teaching improv and performance, and certifications in trauma-informed practice that she adapts to be actually neuroinclusive.
